The University Of Louisville Athletic Association (ULAA) and its partner, Adidas, have developed a career building internship model to prepare the next generation of athletic administrators and sports industry professionals. This exclusive nine-month, paid program offers hands-on experience and programming to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities in athletic administration. The internship prepares all Adidas interns for an entry- or mid-level position in athletic administration and/or the sports industry.
Interns will be assigned to various departments within ULAA depending on preferences, interest, and/or skill set.
Must be a graduate or professional degree-seeking student currently enrolled full-time (as determined by student's academic program) at the University of Louisville
Official transcript from an accredited four-year institution
If a first year, full-time graduate student, submit transcript from undergraduate career
If entering second year of graduate program, submit transcript for first academic year of graduate school
If entering second full-time semester of graduate/professional degree program, submit both (1) undergraduate transcript and (2) transcript from most recent full-time semester of graduate/professional program
Possess a serious desire to work in intercollegiate athletics and/or the sports industry
A scholarship, which may be applied to tuition or used to cover living expenses
Practical experience at a NCAA Division I (FBS) institution in the Atlantic Coast Conference
First-class presentations from influential leaders, business executives, athletic administrators and experts within the sports industry
Development of transferrable job skills
One-on-one mentorship from a staff member
Professional development workshops
Networking opportunities
Annual trip to Adidas North American headquarters located in Portland, OR
Other possible perks may include, but are not limited to: game tickets, volunteer opportunities at events (e.g. NCAA Championship events hosted by UofL), Adidas and UofL merchandise
