Strategic Partnerships
The Cardinal Athletic Career Center has established partnerships with local and national companies, organizations, and professionals to develop a network of readily available employers seeking student-athletes as viable candidates for full and part-time employment, internships, and co-ops.
ÂSweats to Suits
We host our Sweats to Suits mock interview and networking events each semester. Upperclassmen are afforded the opportunity to be interviewed and critiqued by CEO's, business executives, and community leaders. This allows students to hone their interviewing skills in a real world environment while networking with prospective employers.
ÂThird Thursdays
Third Thursdays are held at noon on the third Thursday of each month in the Cardinal Park conference room. These sessions bring in guest speakers from various professions to discuss career related topics. Recent topics have included:
- Career mapping
- Preparing an elevator speech
- Becoming a star in your first job
- Interview tips and strategies
- Turning athletic experiences into résumé items
- Financial planning
- Careers in the military
