Kienholz Named to Davey O’Brien Great 8 List

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville quarterback Lincoln Kienholz was selected to the Davey O'Brien Great 8 list for his performance in Louisville's 41-31 win over No. 16 SMU.
Kienholz combined for 219 total yards and three touchdowns in the victory.
The senior was 14-for-23 through the air for 177 yards and a pair of scores. He also rushed 12 times for 42 yards and his fourth rushing touchdown of the season.
Through three games, Kienholz has passed for 816 yards and six touchdowns while gaining 153 on the ground with four more scores.
Kienholz enters week four ranking top 15 nationally in yards per pass attempt, yards per completion, total offense and rushing touchdowns.
He will lead the Cards on Saturday as they take on Wake Forest at L&N Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET.
