October 13, 2026 | Football
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville running back Isaac Brown was named to the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll for week six announced on Tuesday by the Louisville Sports Commission.
Brown is the second Louisville player to land on the Hornung Award Honor Roll this season, joining Tre Richardson from week one.
Brown turned in the most productive day of his three-year career in Friday night's win over Florida State.
The junior rolled up a career-best 235 yards on the ground with a pair of touchdowns, scoring from 97 and 68 yards. The 235 yards were the seventh-most in a single game in program history and the most by any player in the FBS this season. His 97-yard score in the second quarter was the longest play from scrimmage in UofL history and is tied for the longest run by anyone in the FBS in 2026.
In addition to his 235 on the ground, Brown also caught a pass for seven yards and had a 71-yard kickoff return. His 313 all-purpose yards were the third-most in program history and the most of any player in the FBS this year.
The Cardinals return to the field on Saturday with a road contest at Syracuse. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on the ACC Network.
