LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Louisville men's golf team opens its 2026-27 campaign Monday at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate, hosted by Tennessee at Fox Den Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn.
The Cardinals will compete in a 17-team field that includes host Tennessee, Charlotte, Chattanooga, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Liberty, Memphis, Mississippi State, Missouri, North Carolina, NC State, South Carolina, Toledo, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech.
Louisville's lineup for the season opener features Brady Smith, Warren Thomis, Tyler Bruneau, Barron Mundy and Seán Keeling.
The Cardinals will begin play Monday, playing 36 holes throughout the opening day. Louisville will start from Hole No. 9, with its five players teeing off in 12-minute intervals.
Keeling will lead off for the Cardinals at 8:30 a.m., followed by Mundy at 8:42 a.m., Bruneau at 8:54 a.m., Thomis at 9:06 a.m. and Smith at 9:18 a.m. Each Louisville player will compete alongside golfers from Missouri, Chattanooga and Indiana.
The Visit Knoxville Collegiate will be contested at Fox Den Country Club, a par-70, 6,962-yard layout. The Cardinals will play 54 holes over the two-day tournament, with the first 36 holes taking place Monday before the final round Tuesday.
The tournament marks the start of Louisville's 2026-27 season as the Cardinals look to build on a successful 2025-26 campaign that saw the program advance to the NCAA Championship and post its best finish in regional play.
