Izzy Bianco, Lauren Masters and Rylie Wollerton represent Louisville on the national preseason watch list
The University of Louisville's Izzy Bianco, Lauren Masters and Rylie Wollerton were named to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Collegiate Watch List as announced by the organization.
Â
Bianco, Masters and Wollerton are members of the U.S. U-21 Women's National Team and recently helped the USA earn a silver medal at the Junior Pan American Games in Asuncion, Paraguay.
Â
This marks the third straight year that Bianco (Berlin, N.J.) has been included on the Collegiate Watch List. The senior midfielder and team co-captain was a 2024 NFHCA All-West Region honoree after registering a career-high five goals and dishing out three assists for a total of 13 points.
Â
Wollerton, a senior forward from Gibsonia, Pa., has been consistently among the Cardinals' leading scorers the past two years. In 2024, the forward tallied a career-high seven goals, two assists and 16 points.
Â
Masters, a junior forward from Pittstown, N.J., has played in every game during her time at Louisville. In 2024, she scored three goals.
Â
The 2025 NFHCA Watchlist is intended to showcase those field hockey student-athletes with the strongest potential for consideration to the current year's NFHCA All-Region and All-American teams. To be nominated, student-athletes must have been previously recognized for their outstanding field hockey abilities within the past two years (NFHCA All-Region, NFHCA All-American, All-Conference, USAFH Senior Nexus Championship selection, NCAA All-Tournament Team, and/or U.S. National or International Team roster). Â
Â
The Cards will open the 2025 campaign on Friday against Michigan State at 12 p.m. at Trager Stadium. Louisville will continue its opening weekend on Sunday with a 1 p.m. matchup against Ohio University.
