Cardinals Earn ITA All-Academic Team Status

Five Cardinals named ITA Scholar Athlete
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville men's tennis earned the ITA All-Academic Team status, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced on Monday morning.
To earn the ITA All-Academic team status, the program must have posted a team GPA of 3.2 or above for the entire year. Louisville logged a 3.386 for the academic year.
Additionally, five Cardinals were named ITA Scholar-Athletes for the 2024-25 season: Will Mayew, Russell Lokko, Miguel Avendaño, Adrien Ducruet and Piet Steveker. Student-athletes were eligible for the honor if they earned a 3.5 GPA and above for the academic year.
