13 Cards Named to All-ACC Academic Softball Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The University of Louisville softball team placed 13 student-athletes on the All-ACC Academic Team, the league office announced Thursday.
Among those honored, Ally Alexander, Sam Booe, and Alyssa Zabala earned the third All-ACC Academic distinction of their careers. Maddi Grant, Easton Lotus, Chelsea Mack, and Katie Thatcher garnered their second career All-ACC Academic honor. Bri Despines, Riley Janda, Camryn Lookadoo, Char Lorenz, Taylor Monroe, and Madison Pickens were named to the team for the first time in their careers.
To be selected to the All-ACC Academic Team, student-athletes must have a career 3.0 GPA and 3.0 GPA in the most recent semester and participated in at least 50% of their team's contests. Pitchers must have participated in at least 20% of their team's contests.
