Rodrigo da Silva signs transfer Pedro Cressoni
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville men's tennis head coach Rodrigo da Silva announced Wednesday the signing of Pedro Cressoni to the 2025-26 squad.
"I'm very happy to bring Pedro to the team," said da Silva. "He is an experienced tennis player who will bring a lot of leadership and passion to our team."
Cressoni is a rising senior, transferring to the Cardinals after spending three seasons at ETSU.
As a junior, Cressoni logged a 15-4 singles mark, going an undefeated 5-0 in league action. He played primarily from the three-spot for the Buccaneers. The São Paulo, Brazil, native also went 8-5 in doubles, playing all 13 matches from the third position.
During his second season at ETSU, he posted a 7-5 singles record and 6-8 mark on the doubles side. He went 2-1 in the conference tournament to lead the Buccaneers to their 13th team title.
In 2023, Cressoni was named to the SoCon All-Freshman Team after finishing a perfect 5-0 in conference play. He ended the season with a 7-4 doubles record, picking up three conference wins.
