
Walid Ahouda Added To Men's Tennis Roster

Rodrigo da Silva adds trasnfer Ahouda from UCF
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville men's tennis head coach Rodrigo da Silva announced Wednesday the signing of Walid Ahouda.
"Walid has some untapped potential that we're looking forward to unlocking," said da Silva on the transfer. "He is incredibly motivated and ready to take his tennis to new heights. He's going to be a key piece in our program in the very near future."
Ahouda spent the last two seasons at the University of Central Florida. The incoming junior hails from Casablanca, Morocco.
He played in three spring matches for the Knights in 2025 as a sophomore, going undefeated in those three matches. He won once from the four-spot and twice from the No. 5 spot in the lineup.
As a junior tennis player, Ahouda was ranked as a high as 73 in the ITF rankings. In summer 2024, he reached the main draw of the M15 Monastir on the ITF World Tennis Tour, defeating three opponents in the qualifying draw.
