Louisville Returns Home to Face No.26 Georgia Tech and No.33 Clemson

The Cardinals come into the weekend ranked No.70 in the latest ITA rankings
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's tennis team returns home to begin a four match homestand beginning Friday afternoon against No.26 Georgia Tech and No.35 Clemson Sunday, with first serve slated for 4 p.m. and 12 p.m., respectively.
The Cardinals (10-7, 2-6 ACC) are coming off a trip to Virginia last weekend where they split matches against No.5 Virginia, losing 4-1 in Charlottesville but picked up a ranked win Sunday against No.57 Virginia Tech 4-0.
The Cards enter the weekend as the 70th ranked team, according to the latest ITA rankings. This marks the first time UofL has been ranked as a team since 2019, when they were ranked No.49 at the beginning of the season.
Senior Allie Gretkowski had an efficient weekend, earning two singles wins at the No.4 spot to improve to 9-4 on the season.

Scouting the Yellow Jackets: Georgia Tech comes into the weekend as the 26th ranked team in the ITA rankings. Last weekend the Yellow Jackets earned a 4-0 win against Wake Forest but fell 4-3 on the road against No.11 NC State. The duo of Alejandra Cruz and Given Roach are currently ranked No.57, boasting a 11-8 record on the season. Georgia Tech has two players ranked in singles as Scarlett Nicholson and Cruz come in at No 36 104, respectively, with a combined record of 24-7.
