LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's golf team is back in action as the Cardinals compete this weekend, March 16-18, at the General James Hackler Championship at The Dunes Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Louisville opens the first round paired with NC State and Kent State. Easton Johnson will get things started off the first tee at 8:50 a.m. CT.

Suiting up for the Cards are Johnson, Cooper Claycomb, Patrick Keeling, Brady Smith and Sebastian Moss.
The Cardinals look to defend their title from last year after Max Kennedy led the team to its tournament title a year ago. Entering the final round with a one-shot lead, the Cardinals dominated action on the final day by shooting a 5-under-par 283 to win by five shots ahead of host Coastal Carolina, which shot even-par. The Cardinals closed the tournament at 5-under after carding rounds of 286-290-283=859.
As a team this week, the Cardinals look to get things turned back around after finishing seventh at the Hayt last week in Ponte Vedra, Fla. Smith led the Cardinals with an 18th-place finish
