Duvall, Rushing to Headline 2026 Louisville Baseball Leadoff Dinner

The annual event is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 23, 2026, at the Louisville Marriott Downtown.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville baseball alumni Adam Duvall and Dalton Rushing will be the featured guests at the 2026 Leadoff Dinner presented by Republic Bank. The annual event is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on Friday, Jan. 23, 2026, at the Louisville Marriott Downtown.

The Louisville baseball program had 10 alumni spend time on MLB rosters during the 2025 season and 38 former Cardinals assigned to professional teams at the conclusion of the year. A complete list of Cardinals in professional baseball can be found here.
Adam Duvall
OF (2014-24) – San Francisco Giants, Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves, Miami Marlins, Boston Red Sox
An 11-year MLB veteran, Duvall was a two-time World Series Champion (2014 Giants, 2021 Braves), a 2016 All-Star and Home Run Derby participant, and a 2021 Gold Glove Award winner. The Louisville native leads all former Cardinals in MLB hits, home runs, RBIs, and runs among other categories.
Dalton Rushing
C, Los Angeles Dodgers
The 40th overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft, Rushing made his Major League debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers less than three years after wrapping up an All-American career in a Louisville uniform. Rushing played in 53 games in his rookie season and helped the Dodgers to the 2025 World Series title.
