Louisville Welcomes Artem Dmytrenko to Class of 2026

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville men's tennis announces the addition of Artem Dmytrenko to the 2026-27 roster and will be joining the team in the fall.
"Artem is an incredible player who is a true competitor on the court," said head coach Rodrigo da Silva. "He is a fighter with great potential and we can't wait to see him in Louisville next fall."Â
Dmytrenko is a native of Kyiv, Ukraine. He currently attends Optima High School, an online academy, and is set to graduate in 2026. While in Atlanta, Ga., he plays for the Windy Hill Athletic Club.Â
According to Tennis Recruting Network, Dmytrenko is a five-star recruit and is ranked seventh in the state of Georgia.Â
While playing in under-18, under-16 and junior J100 boys competitions, the Ukraine-native has posted a 14-8 record while playing at the ITF junior level. Overall, he has a 42-18 record.Â
He most recently competed in the Battle of Boca Presented by Jason Zafiro where he advanced to the quarterfinals.Â
