Fighting Irish Mini Duals

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Louisville men's tennis sends select players to South Bend, Ind. this weekend to compete in the Fighting Irish Mini Duals. The tournament, hosted by the University of Notre Dame, will take place from Sept. 25 through Sept. 27.

Freshman Lucas Bazin, sophomore Jerald Carroll, junior Matei Onofrei and senior Hamza El Amine will represent the Cardinals in this weekend's competition.

The tournament will be held at Eck Tennis Pavilion and will follow a mini dual match format, with players competing in pairs. The pairs will begin with a doubles set followed by two singles matches. To advance to the next round, each pair must win at least two of their three matches.

This marks the fifth consecutive year that Notre Dame men's tennis has hosted a fall tournament, and the fourth time Louisville will participate. The schools participating alongside Louisville include Ohio State, Illinois, Wisconsin and Notre Dame.
