Cards will take on No. 9 Duke Friday at 6 p.m. and No. 3 North Carolina Sunday at 12 p.m.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The No. 19-ranked University of Louisville field hockey team will return to Atlantic Coast Conference play this weekend when the Cardinals hit the road to face a pair of top-10 opponents starting with a contest at No. 9 Duke Friday at 6 p.m. The Cards will wrap up the weekend in an ACC Network televised contest at No. 3 North Carolina Sunday at 12 p.m.

• Louisville's Trager Stadium will serve as the host site for the 2025 ACC Championship. The Cardinals last hosted the event in 2017 when they advanced to the title game.
• Justine Sowry is in her 15th season at the helm. During her tenure, Sowry has guided the Cardinals to nine NCAA tournament appearances, advancing to the quarterfinals in three of the last six years and reaching the semifinals in 2020.

Scouting the Blue Devils: Ninth-ranked Duke enters Friday's matchup with a 7-4 overall record and a 2-2 mark in ACC play. Last weekend, the Blue Devils lost 1-0 to No. 2 Virginia in double OT on Friday, but rebounded fo a 5-0 victory over then-No. 19 JMU on Sunday.
• Alaina McVeigh leads the Blue Devil offense with 18 points (7G, 4A) while Julia Boehringer follows closely with 17 points (7G, 3A).
• Goalkeeper Kaiya Chepow stands second in the ACC and five in the nation with a 0.87 goals against average.
