Cards Crack the Polls After Huge Win at Miami

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Coming off the biggest road wins in school history, the University of Louisville football team cracked the Associated Press Poll at No. 19 and No. 22 in the Coaches Poll.
The Cardinals dropped No. 2 Miami 24-21 on Friday night to improve to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. It was the school's first-ever win over a No. 2 ranked opponent on the road in program history.
Louisville entered the polls at No. 22 last season and jumped to as high as No. 15 in the country before falling at Notre Dame 31-24. The Cardinals spent seven weeks in the polls last season before ending the year unranked after finishing the year at 9-4.
