LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville field hockey team will resume Atlantic Coast Conference play this weekend when the Cardinals play host to No. 19 California Friday at 6 p.m. at Trager Stadium. Admission is free.

• Bianco, Masters and Wollerton were named to the 2025 NFHCA Collegiate Watch List
• The 2025 Louisville field hockey co-captains are Bianco, senior midfielder Chloe Cuzzupe and

• Louisville was picked to finish eighth in the ACC preseason coaches poll.
• Louisville's Trager Stadium will serve as the host site for the 2025 ACC Championship. The Cardinals last hosted the event in 2017 when they advanced to the title game.
• Justine Sowry is in her 15th season at the helm. During her tenure, Sowry has guided the Cardinals to nine NCAA tournament appearances, advancing to the quarterfinals in three of the last six years and reaching the semifinals in 2020.

•The Golden Bears are led by current ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week Liz Klompmaker who has tallied 11 goals and 23 points. The forward from The Netherlands was the deciding factor in their top-five upset, as she scored the lone goal of the contest.
• Currently ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week Delphine Ayitey-Hammond carries a 2.03 goals against average with two shutouts and 35 saves on the season.
• Head Coach Shellie Onstead is entering her 31st season as the head coach for Cal.
• She is only the second head coach in program history, amassing over 300 career wins, 14 conference titles, and 6 NCAA tournament appearances.
• Her most recent title came by way of the America East Conference in 2023, just one year before Cal made the move to the ACC.
