September 15, 2024 | Men's Golf
CINCINNATI – The University of Louisville men's golf team returns to the course on Monday to resume its fall season at Bearcat Invitational at Coldstream Country Club.
The two-day event begins Monday, with shotgun starts at 9 a.m. for each one. Admission is open to fans.
The Cardinals finished second at this tournament last season, but senior Sebastian Moss looks to win this tournament for the second-straight season. Moss secured his first career win and the first by a UofL player since Max Kennedy took home a victory at the All-American. Moss shot the lowest round by a Louisville player this season to win the tournament by four strokes over Cincinnati's Connor McNeely.
Moss carded a 67-69-65=201 to finish at 12-under-par for his best tournament since joining the Cards. He was 6-under-par on Tuesday after recording six birdies and playing bogey-free golf.
Cooper Claycomb, Easton Johnson, Mads Roddik and Brady Smith will be the starting five for the Cardinals.
Louisville joins a competitive field that consists of Augusta, BYU, Cincinatii, UCF, Chattanooga, Florida Gulf Coast, Furman, Illinois State, Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky, Little Rock, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, UNC Greensboro, Sam Houston and Southern Miss.
