
Duchars, Plumb Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

Mia Duchars and Aimee Plumb named to the CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville field hockey student-athletes Mia Duchars and Aimee Plumb were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic At-Large All-District®  team as announced by the organization.

To be eligible, an undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.Â

Duchars earns her first academic all-district award. As a senior, the St. Louis, Mo., native earned National Field Hockey Coach All-America and All-West Region honors after dishing out five assists and one goal during her senior campaign. She was also an All-ACC first team pick and a two-time ACC Defensive Player of the Week, helping the Cardinals to a league-best six shutouts while advancing to the semifinals of the ACC Championship and the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament.

The biology major is a three-time NFHCA National Academic Squad selection and a two-time All-ACC Academic Team member.

This marks the third straight CSC Academic All-District nod for Plumb. The senior forward from Canterbury Kent, England has maintained a 4.0 career grade point average while majoring in psychology with minors in art and Spanish. In 2023, the NFHCA All-West Region selection led the team with 18 points including a team-best eight assists and five goals while helping Louisville to the semifinals of the ACC Championship and the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament.

The two-time NFHCA All-American's academic resume includes ACC and NFHCA Scholar Athlete of the Year honors for the 2022-23 campaign along with being tabbed a 2023 CSC Academic All-American®. She is also a four-time NFHCA Scholar of Distinction, All-ACC Academic Team selection and NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad Member.
