Cards Close Out Season in 10th Place at the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's golf team closed the 2023-24 season with a 10th-place finish at the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional at the University Club in Baton Rouge, La.
The Cardinals posted their best round of the regional on Wednesday by carding a 5-under-par 283 to close out the postseason at 21-over-par with scores of 301-301-283=885.
Sebastian Moss and Max Kennedy combined for eight birdies and just two bogeys to post the two top rounds for the Cardinals during regional action on the final day. The duo each shot a 3-under-par 69 to help the Cardinals rally on Wednesday with their top round over the three-day period.
Moss posted a finish just outside of the top 10 by closing in 11th place after finishing with a 2-under-par 214 for the regional. He shot 73-72-69=214 for his sixth top-20 finish of the season.
Kennedy closed his career in a tie for 20th with a 2-over-par 218, which included his best round of 69 on Wednesday.
Easton Johnson also posted his best round on Wednesday by carding a 1-under-par 71 to tie for 49th overall with a 10-over-par 226. Cooper Claycomb shot 76 on Wednesday to finish with a 13-over-par 229, while Andrew Tan subbed in on Wednesday and added a 2-over-par 74.
