Mayew Named College Sport Communicators Academic All-District

Will Mayew earns CSC academic distinction
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – UofL men's tennis sophomore captain Will Mayew was named to the 2023-24 College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Men's Tennis Team, CSC announced Tuesday afternoon.
Mayew boasts a 3.75 GPA while majoring in finance at UofL. He competed in 24 of the Cardinals' 28 matches this spring, starting the regular season 11-1 on the singles courts.
The Cary, N.C., native was ranked as high as 56 in the ITA Singles Rankings during the 2023-24 year and competed in the ITF M15 in the fall. He was also named ACC Player of the Week on February 27.
The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men's Tennis Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 5.
