Field Hockey Partners with HEADstrong Foundation for Spring Kickoff Tournament

Cards play host to Ball State, Bellarmine, Miami (Ohio), Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Ohio University and Saint Louis this weekend
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville field hockey team will host its Spring Kickoff this weekend at Trager Stadium. Admission is free.

Throughout the weekend, the Cardinals are teaming with the HEADstrong Foundation to support those impacted by cancer. The participating teams will be wearing lime green shoelaces in conjunction with the organization, which offers financial, residential, and emotional support to families affected by cancer.

In addition to the host Cardinals, the tournament field includes Ball State, Bellarmine, Miami (Ohio), Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Ohio University and Saint Louis. The complete schedule is below.

Saturday, April 6
10 a.m. – Saint Louis vs. Bellarmine
11 a.m. – Ohio vs. Louisville
12 p.m. – Miami vs. Michigan State
