Ulrich Honored as ACC Female Field Athlete of the Week

The junior is the first athlete in program history to earn an ACC weekly award three times in the same season.
GREENSBORO, N.C. – University of Louisville women's track & field athlete Jayden Ulrich has been named the ACC Women's Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday.
This is the third time this season Ulrich has been recognized by the conference after also earning the award on Jan. 16 and Jan. 30, becoming the first athlete in program history to win an ACC weekly award three times in the same season.
The junior won the women's shot put at the Meyo Invitational on Friday with a new indoor-best throw of 17.67m (57-11.75), improving her ACC-leading mark and keeping her seventh on the national leaderboard.
Ulrich and the rest of the Cardinals return to action this weekend with Boston College's Eagle Elite Invitational, which will be staged from Feb. 9-10 in Boston, Mass.
