
Allen & Stephens Set for USATF Indoor Championships

The pair will compete in the men’s high jump on Friday at 5:00 p.m. ET.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville track and field athletes Trey Allen and Brion Stephens are set to compete at the 2024 USATF Indoor Championships in Albuquerque, N.M. on Friday, Feb. 16.
The pair will both compete in the men's high jump, which will be contested at 5:00 p.m. ET on. Friday afternoon. The competition will be available to stream on USATF.TV with a valid RunnerSpace+ subscription.
Both Allen and Stephens currently hold two of the top four marks in the NCAA thus far this season, with Allen standing second nationally with a season-best clearance of 2.24m (7-4.25) at the KTCCCA College Opener, while Stephens is tied for third with a mark of 2.22m (7-3.25) at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic.
Allen, who has been honored as the ACC Men's Field Athlete of the Week twice on the 2023-24 campaign, has won three ACC titles and been recognized as an All-American five times in his Louisville career, while also holding both the indoor and outdoor program records in the men's high jump.
Stephens was recognized as the 2023 USATF Youth Track & Field U20 Boys Athlete of the Year after winning the USATF U20 national championship in the men's high jump in July. As a freshman last season, Stephens was a two-time ACC runner-up and indoor All-American in the men's high jump.
