
Louisville Opens ACC Play with No. 9 Duke

The Cardinals open league action at home on Sunday evening
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball opens ACC play on Sunday evening by hosting No. 9 Duke in the KFC Yum! Center at 6 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network.

The Cardinals will look to stop a two game skid, most recently falling to No. 23/20 Ole Miss 86-63 in the SEC/ACC Challenge on Tuesday night. The Blue Devils won their Challenge game 84-78 against No. 2 Auburn on Wednesday evening in Durham.

Louisville and Duke have faced off 24 times since 1958; Duke leads the all-time series 15-9 overall and 5-4 in Louisville. The programs met twice in the 2023-24 season, the Blue Devils claiming both outings. Head coach Pat Kelsey is 0-1 in his career against the Blue Devils.

- Senior guard Chucky Hepburn was named ACC Player of the Week and is one of five Oscar Robertson National Players of the Week after his stellar performance in the Battle 4 Atlantis. See 'Hepburn's Hot Hand' on Page 7.
- Fifth-year senior forward Kasean Pryor tore his ACL and will be out for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

- Against Winthrop on Nov. 22, Louisville logged 10 blocks, including seven in the first half. Sophomore James Scott blocked five on his own. The 10 total, seven in a half and Scott's five were all the first time those feats happened for the Cardinals since March 7, 2018 against Florida State.
