
Louisville Opens Battle 4 Atlantis with No. 14/15 Indiana

It’s the third time the Cardinals have competed on Paradise Island in B4A
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball leaves home for the first time in 2024-25 season to compete in the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas. The Cardinals open with the No. 14/15 Indiana Hoosiers on Wednesday at noon ET. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.

The Cardinals most recently defeated Winthrop 76-61 on Friday evening, closing a four-game opening stretch in the KFC Yum! Center. Indiana is undefeated this season, picking up its fourth win against UNC Greensboro last Thursday.

There are 21 games in the history books between the Cardinals and Hoosiers. Louisville trails 9-12 in the all-time series. The two teams just met in 2023 in the Empire Classic in Madison Square Garden; Indiana won 74-66.

- Louisville has played in the Battle 4 Atlantis twice before and has a 6-2 on-court record in the in-season tournament. The Cardinals made it to the championship game in both 2012 and 2016, but fell to Duke 76-71 and Baylor 66-63, respectively, in those contests.
