Cards Slated for Final Exhibition Against Spalding

UofL men’s basketball will play crosstown foe Spalding in its final exhibition game Monday night
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball will play its second and final exhibition against crosstown foe Spalding University on Monday, October 28 at 7 p.m. ET in the KFC Yum! Center.

It's the Cardinals' second of two home exhibitions in October before officially tipping off the season against in-state foe Morehead State on Nov. 4.

Louisville opened its exhibition slate in the Bahamas with two contests in the Baha Mar Hoops Summer League. The Cardinals played their first home exhibition on Monday, Oct. 21, defeating Young Harris College 106-59. Terrence Edwards Jr. led the way for Louisville with 24 points in 22 minutes. Eighteen of those points came from beyond the arc as he netted six 3's.

UofL has scored at least 100 points in each of the three exhibitions it has played across Baha Mar Hoops and home contests.Â

- UofL made 24 3-pointers on 56 attempts against the Young Harris Mountain Lions on Monday. In a regular season game, the 24 triples would have surpassed the school record of 22 netted on Nov. 17, 2007 against Hartford. The 56 attempts would have crushed the school record of 40, attempted on Jan. 12, 2002 against TCU.
