Women’s Golf Moves into 10th Place After Second Round of Mason Rudolph

The Cardinals finished 10 shots better in the second round than in the first
FRANKLIN, Tenn. — The University of Louisville women's golf team moved up the leaderboard on Saturday after the second round of the Mason Rudolph Championship. The Cardinals are in 10th place overall after they finished with a 5-under-par 283 in the second round. The Cardinals were 10 shots better as a team than they were in the first round on Friday and are even par through the first two rounds.
Junior Carmen Griffiths continues to lead the way for the Cardinals. After shooting a 1-under 71 on Friday, she carded a 3-under 69 in the second round and is in a tie for 11th place overall at 4-under-par. It is her third-straight round under par dating back to the final round of the Boilermaker Classic.
Senior Hana Ryskova joined Griffiths with a 3-under-par 69 in the second round on Saturday. She moved into a tie for 33rd overall as she sits at even par after the first two rounds. Senior Beatriz Barrios also moved up the leaderboard on Saturday as she carded a 2-under-par 70 in the second round. She is currently tied for 42nd overall at 1-over-par.
Graduate Rylee Suttor is tied for 55th overall after she had a 3-over-par 75 in the second round. Molly Lyne is in 92nd after a 6-over-par 78 in the second round.
The Cardinals will be back on the course for the final round of the Mason Rudolph Championship on Sunday morning. The final round begins with tee times starting at 9 a.m. ET. Fans can follow along with the live stats here or our social media channels for updates throughout the tournament.
