LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's golf team is pleased to announce the addition of Millie Grace Cottrell to the 2023-24 roster. Cottrell will join the team as a freshman and looks to provide an immediate impact for the Cardinals.
Cottrell, who is from Wales, played for Gordon's School in Surrey, England and was a Wentworth Golf Club Scholar. She was also a member of the Wales national team and most recently a 2023 ISGA HG Trophy individual champion and a 2023 HMC Tour champion.
"We are so excited to welcome Millie to the Cardinal Family. She brings a ton of experience from international competition and will help us continue to compete at a high level," Coach Whitney Young said. "Her passion and love for the game align with our core values, and we are looking forward to getting her on campus in a few days."
Throughout her amateur career, Cottrell has recorded eight top-10 finishes including her two individual victories.
