11 Cardinals Named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll; Team Also Honored

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville lacrosse team landed 11 Cardinals on the 2023 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA)Â Division I Academic Honor Roll, the organization announced on Friday.

The IWLCA honored 949 student-athletes from 96 different institutions on the honor roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

Allegra Catalano (Sports Administration, Kylea Dobson (Accounting), Magdalena Foster (Accounting), Isabelle Holmes (Management), Sydney Kirchenheiter (Biology), Rachel Lifson (Exercise Science), Hannah Morris (Sports Administration), Ashley Osborne (Exercise Science), Kristen Pezzullo (Criminal Justice), Alexa Steffens (Marketing) and Olivia Toll (Marketing) were the individuals honored.

As a team, the Cardinals were one of 288Â schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA to be named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Squad for the 2022-23 academic year. The Cardinals posted an impressive 3.5 GPA for the academic year.
