INDIANAPOLIS -- University of Louisville swimming continue competition after the four days of racing at the 2023 Phillips 66 National Championships meet.
The long-course meters event got off the blocks today and run from June 27-July 1 at the Indiana University Natatorium in Indianapolis and serves as a selection opportunity for the 2023 World Championships, LEN U23 Championships and 2023 Pan American Games rosters.

Friday Highlights:
- Luke Shourds stopped the clock at 1:03.17 to finish 38th in the 100M breaststroke.
- Paige Hetrick touched 19th in the 100 back, posting a time of 1:01.22.
- Rye Ulett finished 35th in the 100 backstroke, turning in a time of 1:02.08.
- Nick Albiero earned a second swim when he finished 15th in the prelims of the 100 backstroke with a 54.56 and then finished eighth in the B-final with a time of 54.75.
- Dalton Lowe posted a time of 55.77 in the 100 backstroke with a time of 55.77.
- Charlie Crush was 50th, posting a 57.53.
Thursday Highlights
- Abby Hay earned a spot in the B-final after posting a 4:48.82 in the 400 IM and then went on to finish 8th in the B-final with a 4:52.17. Rye Ulett went 4:56.69 in the 400 IM and Paige Kuwata was 45th with a time of 5:02.24.
- Tommy Bried touched ninth in the prelims of the 400 IM (4:18.99) and then was fifth in the B-final with a time of 4:20.76.
- Gabi Albiero was 8th in the prelims of the 100 butterfly (58.69) to advance to the A-final, where she finished 8th with a time of 58.64.
- Tristen Ulett made the C-final of thee 100 fly with a prelim time of 59.41 and then sent 59.54 to finish seventh in the finals.
- Christie Regenauer put up a time of 1:00.35 in the 100 fly.
- Zach Harting made the A-final of the 100 fly when he put up a 51.51 in prelims. He went 51.56 in the A-final.
- Nick Albiero made the C-final of the 100 fly when he went 52.72 in the prelims and then posted a 52.71 to finish seventh in the finals.
- Dalton Lowe made the C-final after a prelim time of 52.99 in the 100M fly and then finished fourth in the final with a 53.44.
- Luke Shourds placed 25th in the 50 breast with a 28.45.
- Aidan Kreiley was 34th in the 50 breaststroke, stopping the clock in 28.84.
- Paige Hetrick finished 22nd in the 50M back with a time of 28.86.
