
Griffiths Finishes First Round of NCAA Regionals

WESTFIELD, Ind. – Carmen Griffiths of the University of Louisville women's golf team finished the first day of the 2023 NCAA Regional Championship in 56th place after carding a 4-over-par 76 in round one of action.
After just one birdie on the first nine holes, Griffiths finished out the round with two consecutive birdies. She will look to take this momentum into the second round of play which will begin tomorrow, May 9.
Griffiths will tee off of hole 10 at 8:55 a.m. ET along with two other competing individuals.
156 players will advance to the 2023 NCAA Championship, with the top five teams and top individual (not on an advancing team) advancing from each regional. The finals are May 19-24 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
