Three Cardinals Named to the PING All-Region Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Three University of Louisville men's golfers were named to the NCAA Division I PING Midwest All-Region Team on Saturday.

Junior Max Kennedy, senior Jiri Zuska and sophomore Sebastian Moss each earned postseason accolades after guiding the Cardinals to their third-consecutive regional appearance.

Posting his best season, Kennedy led the Cardinals with a 71.30 stroke average, the sixth-best mark in school history. An All-Atlantic Coast Conference honoree, Kennedy recorded seven-straight top-10 finishes, including his first collegiate win at the Aggie Invitational.

The third-year performer was also tabbed to the Walker Cup's International Team that will compete next month.

Zuska finished his career by also earning all-league honors after registering the ninth-best stroke average in school history. He finished the year with three consecutive finishes in the top 10 before ending his career by placing in a tie for 11^th at the Morgan Hill Regional.

Moss posted a solid 71.72 stroke average and had five top-10 endings during the 2022-23 season. In his first regional appearance, Moss tied for 17^th after carding a 3-over-par 219.
