LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Tuesday's baseball game between the University of Louisville and Bellarmine is heading to downtown Louisville.
The game will now be played at Louisville Slugger Field, home of the AAA Louisville Bats, with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m. ET. After adding a game between the two programs at Jim Patterson Stadium on April 12, Bellarmine will now serve as the host and home team for Tuesday's contest.
Admission for the game is free and parking in the Slugger Field lot is available for free on a first-come, first-served basis.
Louisville previously played at Slugger Field three times during the 2017 season. The Cardinals defeated Northern Kentucky 6-4 on April 26 followed by a pair of games in the 2017 ACC Championship. Louisville downed Notre Dame 10-3 before losing 6-2 to Florida State in the pool play portion of the championship.
Louisville picked up a 14-2 victory over Bellarmine in the first meeting between the two this season back on April 12. Thirteen different Cardinals recorded a hit in the win with six tallying multiple.
