LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville football team held its annual Spring Football Game on Friday at 7 p.m., with the defense taking home a 51-30 advantage over the offense during a rainy night in L&N Stadium.

The senior's second touchdown went back to Lifson on a 30 yard pass after a trick play. Lifson recorded 42 yards receiving on two passes.

The defense was led by TJ Quinn, who had eight tackles and one interception that he returned for 10 yards. Daniel Martens and Jack Reiger each had seven tackles. Martens had 0.5 tackles for loss, one pass breakup, and one interception. Reiger had one tackle for loss. Derrick Edwards had one interception that he returned for nine yards.
Louisville Head Coach Jeff Brohm Said:
"There's a lot of things to learn. Without question we do have some key guys that can make plays for us on both sides of the ball. We just have to continue to develop on both sides of the ball as well. I think that's the key. Working the young guys as much as you can, making sure they're ready to go when their number is called and making sure they're ready to go if an injury happens. If you feel like you need to improve in certain areas, then we've got to go out and figure out ways to prove otherwise. I do think our guys worked hard and gave good effort."
