Field Hockey Spring Schedule Released

Cards will host a spring tournament April 1-2
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville field hockey coach Justine Sowry has released the Cardinals' 2023 spring schedule which includes a weekend tournament at Trager Stadium.

Louisville will open spring play at home on April 1 with a two-day tournament. The Cardinals will welcome Saint Louis, Ball State, Ohio State and Bellarmine to Trager Stadium.

The following weekend, the Cards will travel to Bloomington, Ind., to take on the host Hoosiers, Miami (Ohio) and Ball State.

Louisville will wrap up the spring in Evanston, Ill., April 15-16 at Northwestern where they will face Big Ten foes Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State and the host Wildcats.

About Louisville Field Hockey
The UofL field hockey team registered a 12-8 overall record after earning its fourth-straight NCAA tournament bid. The Cardinals were ranked No. 12 in the final NFHCA Coaches Poll after spending the entire season in the top 15 and reaching as high as No. 4 in the 2022 campaign. Following the season, Julie Kouijzer and Aimee Plumb earned NFHCA All-America honors, marking the eighth straight year the Cardinals have placed at least two players on the All-America teams, a streak which dates back to the 2015 season.
