LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's tennis steps out of conference play to take on Xavier on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

The Cardinals (7-6, 0-4) came up short this weekend falling 1-6 to No. 1 North Carolina and 0-7 to No. 11 Duke. Louisville's lone point against North Carolina came at the No. 6 slot when Sasha Gorchanyuk beat Lindsay Zink 6-3, 6-4. Against Duke, Jamilah Snells took the second set 6-4 but fell 10-1 in a ten point pro set tiebreaker.

Xavier (7-4) continued their four-match win streak after topping Southern Indiana 7-0. In doubles, the Musketeers won all three matches. Up 1-0 heading into singles, Imani Graham took a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles. At No. 2 singles, Abby Nugent won 6-0, 6-4 and Anna Roggenburk won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles. The Musketeers finished the sweep winning 6-3, 6-0 at No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles, and 6-0, 6-3 at No. 6 singles.
