DURHAM, N.C. -- Anna DeBeer had a double-double with 13 kills and 11 digs to lead the University of Louisville to a sweep of Duke in ACC volleyball action Sunday afternoon in Cameron Indoor Stadium.

The 25-18, 25-18, 25-20 win moves Louisville to a record of 14-2 overall and a 5-1 mark in conference play. The Cardinals hit .263 with eight aces, 51 digs and four blocks. Middle blockers Cara Cresse and Phekran Kong each had seven kills and two blocks. Charitie Luper pitched in 9 kills and eight digs with setter Elle Glock tallying 31 assists and 10 digs for her double-double.

Duke falls to 11-6 and 2-4 in ACC play. The Blue Devils were led by Kerry Keefe's 15 kills with setter Emma Worthington notching 18 assists and 12 digs.

The Cardinals face conference rival Pitt at 7 p.m. at the KFC Yum! Center.

The Cardinals blew out to a 5-0 lead in the first set powered by Elle Glock's aggressive serving. After a Duke timeout, the Blue Devils scored four straight to pull within one. The Cards kept Duke at arm's length as they widened their lead to six, taking advantage of Duke hitting errors and a kill by Charitie Luper at 19-13. After Duke called timeout, the Cards continued to press offensively and hit set point on a kill by Anna DeBeer at 24-20. A hitting error by Rachel Robinson gave the first set to the Ville at 25-20. UofL hit .341 led by DeBeer's seven kills and .538 hitting.

In the second set, the teams stayed close early on before Louisville gained some breathing room with a five point lead at 15-10, three of which came on Duke miscues. Two kills by Charitie Luper gave UofL a 22-15 lead before a Phekran Kong kill put the Cards at set point. Duke was able to hold off the winning point wit ha kill by Lizzie Fleming but an unlikely kill by libero Elena Scott gave the Cards the 25-18 win. Louisville hitting cooled to .158 in the second set but were aided by three aces.

Momentum carried over to the third set early on as the Cards powered out to a 7-2 lead and force a Duke timeout. The Cards kept the pressure on, spreading the lead to 12-5 on an ace by Cara Cresse and a kill by Anna DeBeer. The Blue Devils put together a 4-0 run to pull within four at 14-10 and spark a Louisville timeout. The Cards were undeterred and a 4-2 run late took the Cards to 22-15 and kills by Luper and Kong took Louisville to match point at 24-16. Duke managed to score three times before a kill by Aiko Jones gave the Ville point, set and match.
