Claycomb Wins Individual Tournament Title

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Freshman Cooper Claycomb took home the individual crown, carding a 6-under-par as the University of Louisville men's golf team hosted an individual tournament at the University of Louisville Golf Club today.
The one-day, 36-hole individual event consisted of four individual participants from each of the six different teams – Louisville, Arkansas, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Missouri, and Western Kentucky. The tournament was originally scheduled to be hosted by the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio but was moved due to weather.
All four individuals from Louisville placed in the top 10 of the tournament and carded scores of par or below. Easton Johnson finished third, scoring 4-under-par. Mads Roddik finished in a tie for seventh after carding a 1-under-par and Clay Pendergrass was even, finishing in a tie for tenth.
