
Cardinals Move into Fourth Place at Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate

The Cardinals shot 1-over-par as a team, tied for the lowest team score of the day
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The University of Louisville women's golf team rose up the leaderboard during the second round of the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate Monday afternoon at the Cherokee Country Club. The Cardinals finished the round at 1-over-par as a team, tied for the lowest team score of the day and moved up three spots into fourth overall at 5-over-par through the first 36 holes.
Hana Ryskova continued to lead the Cardinals after the second round of play on Monday. She started on the 10th hole and shot 4-under-par over the first nine holes of her round. Ryskova finished the round at 1-under-par for the second-straight round and is 2-under-par and tied for seventh overall through 36 holes.
Carmen Griffiths joined Ryskova with a 1-under-par 70 in the second round of the Mercedes-Benz. She is tied for 15th overall at 1-over-par through the first two rounds.
Beatriz Barrios is one shot behind Griffiths in the overall leaderboard as she sits tied for 18th overall at 2-over-par. She carded a 2-over-par 73 in the second round on Monday.
Rylee Suttor is tied for 30th overall at 4-over-par after shooting a 1-over-par 72 in the second round. Millie Cottrell rounded the Cards out at 17-over-par as she shot 8-over-par 79 for the second round.
