BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Jeremiah Willis and Sean Roth earned their spots at the NCAA Outdoor Championships as the University of Louisville track and field team concluded day one of the NCAA Outdoor East Preliminary Round at Indiana's Robert C. Haugh Complex in Bloomington, Ind.
Â
On his final attempt, Willis posted the third best mark of the men's long jump field with a personal-best of 7.91m (25-11.5) to become the first Cardinal to punch his ticket to Eugene. The mark ranks as the second-best performance in Louisville's outdoor history.
