
Cardinals Set for Tennessee Relays

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville track and field team will travel to compete at the 54th annual Tennessee Relays April. 7-9 in Knoxville, Tenn.
Live coverage from Tom Black Track will be broadcasted on Friday and Saturday on SEC Network+. For those unable to follow the broadcast, live results will be provided by AthleticLIVE timing throughout the three-day meet.
Events open with the women's heptathlon on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. ET and close out Saturday with the men's 4x400-meter relay at 4:35 p.m. ET. The Cardinals will compete in two events on Thursday with the women's and men's hammer throw at 4:00 p.m. ET and 6:30 p.m. ET, respectively.
Louisville is coming off a training week after sending athletes to three separate meets from April 24-26. Gabriela Leon set the women's outdoor pole vault school record with a height of 4.55m (14-11) at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, while the Cardinals closed out action in Texas with four personal-best performances at the Bobcat invitational in San Marcos. Albert Kosgei made his outdoor season debut with a 14th-place finish to lead four athletes at the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C.
