Louisville returns to the Bass-Rudd for final homestand next weekend

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The University of Louisville women's tennis team fell 7-0 at Boston College Sunday afternoon in Chestnut Hill.

The Cardinals dropped the doubles point when Sasha Gorchanyuk and Rhea Verma fell 6-1 at No. 1 after Andrea Di Palma and Tatiana Simova were beaten 6-1 at No. 2.

The Eagles swept the singles at all six slots. Di Palma took her match into three sets, dropping the first set 7-6 but winning the second set 6-1 before falling in the tiebreaker.

Louisville returns home to the Bass-Rudd next weekend to face Florida State on April 8 at 4 p.m. and Miami on April 10 at noon.
