
Cardinals Close Out Final Day at Tiger Classic

The Cardinals opened the day by claiming two of the top-three spots in the women's pole vault. Aliyah Welter earned her first collegiate win with a height of 4.01m (13-1.75) and Auriane Viola cleared a mark of 3.86m (12-8) for third.

The 4x100-meter relay team of Brooke Raglin, Taylor Herbert, Je'Nyia Burton and Synclair Savage picked up the second win of the afternoon with a time of 45.23 seconds.

Emily Scott set a collegiate personal-best with a third-place mark of 1.76m (5-9.25) in the women's high jump. Scott cleared two bars, 1.71m and 1.76m, above her previous best of 1.70m. Luke Nichols tied for second at 2.10m (6-10.75) in the men's high jump.
Cade Richeson recorded a second-place and outdoor personal-best heave of 18.20m (59-8.5) on his first attempt in the men's shot put.

Katie Martin posted a time of 58.61 seconds to finish second in the women's 400-meter hurdles. The time is 0.27 seconds off the school record of 58.34 set by Heather Trimiew at the 2006 Big East Championships.

Lindsey Fanz clocked a personal-best time of 4:53.86 to place third in the women's 1500-meter. A total of 26 personal-bests were established over the two-day meet.

Louisville will split groups at the Texas Relays in Austin, Texas and the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C. from Mar. 23-26.
