Trey Allen Earns First-Team Honors at NCAA Indoor Championships

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Trey Allen tied an indoor personal-best of 2.20m (7-2.5) to earn first-team honors and an eighth-place finish in the men's high jump on the final day of the 2022 NCAA Indoor Championships.

The mark remains the top height in the ACC this season. Allen's entered the indoor season with a personal-best of 2.11m (6-11), which he tied or surpassed in all five meets this season.

"Wow, what a homecoming trip for Trey Allen this weekend," said head coach Dale Cowper. "We expected coming back to Birmingham that it would be a special experience for him and today was exactly that. I am very proud of the way he has been able to work through a bit of adversity this winter and the coaching staff certainly is as well."

Louisville opens the outdoor season with the Tiger Classic on March 18-19 in Auburn. Ala.
