400 IM, 100 Fly, 200 Free, Women's 3M diving
Day 3 Prelims are underway at the McAuley Aquatic Center at the 2022 ACC Championships in Atlanta, Ga.Â

Women's 400 IM
 The Cardinals earned three second swims in the women's  400 IM. Abby Hay boarded a 4:10.65 and teammate Rye Ulett went 4:12.20 to make the A-Final this evening. Paige McCormick will swim the B-Final tonight after posting a 4:18.17.

Men's 400 IM
 In the men's 400 IM, Daniel Sos will swim tonight in the A-Final after putting up a 3:45.69 and will be seeded fifth. Hayden Curley made the B-Final with a 3:49.63. Freshman Eli Shoyat swam 3:59.03 in his heat.

Women's 100 Fly
 Three Cardinal women made tonight's finals of the 100 butterfly led by Gabi Albiero's 51.29 which seeds her second. Tristen Ulett put up a 51.43 and made the A-final as the fourth seeded swimmer. Christiana Regenauer's 52.79 was good for the B-Final.

Men's 100 Fly
  The Cardinals will fill the lanes in the 100 butterfly finals as all five entrants advanced. Nicolas Albiero led the way for UofL with a 45.08 to earn the third seed. Abdelrahman El-Araby went 45.60 and will join Albiero in the A-final. Three Cards will be in the B-Final, led by Dalton Lowe's 45.91. Joining him will be Mitchell Whyte (46.24) and Nikos Sofianidis (46.38).

Women's 200 Freestyle
  In the 200 freestyle, Paige Hetrick's 1:45.35 earned her a second swim as she will be seeded fourth in tonight's A-Final. Joining her in the A will be Polina Nevmovenko, who went 1:46.23. In the B-Final, Arina Openysheva put up a time of 1:46.38 and Alena Kraus boarded a 1:46.94 to join her. Liberty Williams posted a 1:47.17 and Diana Dunn went 1:47.08 to make the C-Final as the Cards send six into the finals.

Men's 200 Freestyle

In the men's 200 free Murilo Sartori will be seeded second tonight in the A-Final after posting a 1:33.39. Joining him in the A will be Colton Paulson, who went 1:34.02. Denis Loktev put up a 1:34.24 to make the B-Final. Gustavo Saldo had a time of 1:35.61 and Michael Eastman had a 1:35.72 to make the C-Final.
