
Cardinals Return Home to Host Ball State and Saint Louis

LOUISVILLE, Ky. –The University of Louisville women's tennis team returns home this weekend to host Ball State and Saint Louis at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
The Cardinals will face off against Ball State in a rescheduled match on Friday at 3 p.m. and will play Saint Louis on Saturday at 4 p.m. Admission is free for both matches.
Louisville (3-1) is looking to rebound from its first defeat of the season, a 6-1 loss to Vanderbilt on Sunday. Andrea Di Palma and Tatiana Simova won 7-5 and Dina Chaika and Chelsea Sawyer won 6-4 to give the Cardinals the doubles point of the match. Louisville was swept in singles despite forcing two matches into a third set.
Ball State (2-0) is coming off a 6-1 victory over Butler on Jan. 30 and returns seven players from last season's team. The match between Louisville and Ball State will be the fourth meeting between the two schools.
Saint Louis (1-3) is coming off a 4-0 loss to Purdue on Jan. 30 and an 11 day stretch without playing a match. The Billikens return eight players from last year's team and welcome two newcomers.
