Hartlage Finishes in a tie for 12th at the NCAA Championship

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The career of University of Louisville senior Lauren Hartlage came to an impressive conclusion with a 12th-place finish at the NCAA Championship at theGrayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Monday.
The senior, who was in contention after the second round, finished the tournament at 1-over-par, carding 73-68-75-73=289 to end as the fourth-best individual in the tournament.
Entering the final day of stroke play in a tie for 10th,Hartlage shot a 1-over 73 to slip two spots in the standings into that tie for 12th.
The native of Elizabethtown, Ky., notched a birdie on No. 2 to move to 1-under-par on the afternoon and got back to even for the championship.
However, bogeys on No. 8 and No. 9 put her at 1-over after the first nine holes.
In true Hartlage fashion, the fifth-year performer went on to birdie No. 13 and would close with a pair of pars as her stellar UofL career to a close.
The 2017 All-ACC Freshman of the Year as a three-time Honorable Mention All-American , a four-time all-ACC performer and three-time all-league academic selection.
