Varsity Four boat gains Grand Finals

CLEMSON, S.C. -- The University of Louisville Rowing team completed the first day of competition first day of the ACC Rowing Championship Friday morning on Lake Hartwell at Clemson highlighted by the Cardinals' Varsity Four boat making tomorrow's grand finals.

The Cardinals' V8+ boat finished fourth in heat 2 with a time of 6:53.040. The boat will race in the petite final tomorrow morning at 9:45 a.m. in lane 5.

The Cards' V4+ boat finished third in heat two with a time of 7:42.197. The boat will race in the grand final tomorrow at 9:05 a.m. in lane 2.

UofL's 2V8+ boat finished fourth in heat two with a time of 7:00.154. UofL will race in the petite final in lane 6 at 9:20 a.m.

Louisville's 2V4+ finished fourth in heat two with a time of 7:48.124. The Cards will race at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow in lane 5.

The ACC Rowing Championship concludes Saturday morning beginning at 8:05 a.m. with the Petite Final of the Third Varsity Eight race. The finals will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra (WatchESPN.com) and the ESPN App.
